Am loving the Edmund bits you've mentioned lately (his POV in Dust and now this). Funny enough, I was thinking Ed with a Dragon would be more fitting considering he riddled with one. I hear snake and I think of the Lady of the Green Kirtle... except she wasn't around during the Golden Age (or was she?).

As for the second Edmund portrait, perhaps that's a scene from the Saga of King Edmund Lawspeaker? Paintings and mosaics are awesome ideas. Are there any tapestries and sculptures that survived from that time as well?
