I'm just one of those people that really hates change. *blush* I think the show was better suited to the first season atmosphere, dark and gritty; the brightness of the past two seasons has been getting on my nerves because it doesn't seem very...well, New York. It's partially the same thing with Lindsay, partially because of the writers' unclear characterization and because she really doesn't read like the "country girl" she's supposed to be. I'm from the country; they're stereotyping instead of characterizing. I like some points, but with most of them I prefer my own interpretations (which is part of the reason the Bardverse has been mostly abandoned; pretty much everything has been Jossed, except for the sf/fantasy parts).
Do you have your original stories posted somewhere?
There are some parts on my LJ, but anything within (I think) the past year has been f-locked. Before that is still public, I think, but I'm pretty sure it's not tagged.
