The little bits of backstory that we keep getting are facinating, but some characters really don't have much at all. Stella especially, because what we know of her pre-CSI is almost nothing... same with Hawkes, until the recent ep where we learn he was a sugeon. Aiden never got any, really, which isn't overly fair!
