Well, the survivor's guilt from the Montana incident compiled with the survivor's guilt from the hostage situation in "Snow Day", since it was her shift Danny took -- she was supposed to be the one in there. Those two incidents on top of each other are going to fuck with her head a lot.

I came up with a Lindsay backstory about a year or so ago, when all we knew was "deep dark secret," and I like it a little better than what canon did, but canon tends to Joss me all over the place. It involved the murder of her roommate in college and the police looking at her for the murder and Lindsay going after the murderer alone. But, obviously, canon.

What's funny with Lindsay is that I like her a lot more when she's not on my television screen. It's funny. I think it's a visual cue more than anything, since I'm not a really strongly visual writer, and Anna Belknap is a little too -- cheery, I guess -- for my tastes.

Yeah, the last thing we need is a CSI One Life to Live. One Murder to Solve?
