Not that it'll happen anytime soon, mind. Although I've got an idea for a new subplot -- plus something that makes a little more sense for the Flack kidnapping. Two main things HAVE to show up: Danny's Tanglewood background and the Patriso murder, and Flack's trauma. Okay, that's three.
I totally don't remember what happens in the original, because I've blocked it out of my memory, and I don't really want to reread it, only I think I'm going to have to, if only for the Mob names. I kind of want to change the title, too. *sigh*
But on the bright side, I finally started working on my shakes_that_fic story! Took me long enough.
Lmao, well, I remember reading it for the first time and thinking "Holy shit this is amazing", although it definitely pales compared to Omerta and the rest. But it's still fantastic.
Yeah, I should probably start on that. Hrm. Maybe this weekend, though I really wanna work more on that Heroes Big Boom fic, too, and get that finished. And my SGA/Heroes crossover, which was due 18 days ago. Um, oops? :D
Also, you should totally go watch Burn Notice. Because hee, it just got so much better with the third episode... I love how suddenly, something like the (really hot and really fantastic) main character driving a Charger makes my grin with glee!
It's so -- *waves hand* I just couldn't stand having it on the web anymore.
...whoa, just realized I wrote Snafu my freshman year. And it's my senior year of high school now, so it'll be, like...an anniversary edition. Or something. Uh, I probably won't make you wait till April to read it.
I gave up on the whole redoing all of MacBeth thing. Instead, witches! Sea-witches, you see. And Jack Sparrow and Bootstrap Bill playing "I spy."
So what exactly is this show about? *curious* *too lazy to go to Wikipedia* *or Google*
Uh, I probably won't make you wait till April to read it.
*laughs* Well, that's good news!!!
I'm still sticking to my idea of Mobster!Danny!Hamlet, but we'll see if I finish on time!
The show is fantastic. It's about a man named Michael who was a spy for the US government... until he got a Burn Notice (hence the title), effectively blacklisting him. They took away anything he might need, credit cards, bank accounts, passport, and dumped him in Miami. He can't leave the city, but no one will tell him why he was Burned, so he's trying to figure out who put the Burn Notice out on him while trying to survive by doing odd spy jobs around the city. It's really wonderful, and my description doesn't do it justice.
Well, April would be the three year anniversary of me on LJ and since I started posting Snafu around then...hopefully I'll have it done before then. I'd kind of like to have it done before school starts, but that's up in the air because I've got other ficathon stuff to do.
Oh, the idea is the same, I'm just changing the timeline a bit. Because I realized that Bootstrap's kid actually DOES become king of the sea, after a matter of speaking, like Banquo's kids become kings.
Oooh...interesting. I'll have to check it out, since Farscape keeps going, "Ha ha, we will only show you the first five minutes and fifty seconds of almost every episode, so it's hit and miss whether or not you'll see the whole ep." I'd just buy it, but it's really expensive, plus, you know, FOUR SEASONS WORTH OF REALLY EXPENSIVE. But, you know, really pretty.
Before school starts?! That's in under a month. You write crazy-fast, that's for sure!
I actually don't know MacBeth at ALL. I know, I'm the worst Shakespeare fan of all times. I always want to read it, but it's never been assigned in class, and I don't have the time or energy to read it for fun, because Shakespeare is so much work to dissect.
THIS IS WHAT ILLEGAL DOWNLOADS ARE FOR! Yeah, Farscape is a really expensive show, I've seen the DVDs on the shelves.
Oh, God, don't remind me school starts in under a month, I don't want to think about it. I'd rather finish everything before school starts, because once school starts I have to do applications, homework, scholarship applications, practice, more homework, pep band, band, practice, orchestra, and the Spaceforce novel. Okay, when I put it that way, I better stop screwing around with my summer NOW.
MacBeth is excellent because it HAS a fairly significant supernatural element. I like MacBeth, but I haven't read much Shakespeare.
Yes, but I'd rather not! And I don't know where to go looking, anyway.
I'm mostly ignoring applications right now, which is kind of bad, but oh well. Mostly what I need to do is essays, and I...don't really want to do essays.
I figured, but they're probably cleverly hidden under names like Ben Browder's Leather Pants and Why String is Cool.
My classes are so awesome this year, because it's my last year and I get to take all the fun stuff now, that I just can't WAIT.
but they're probably cleverly hidden under names like Ben Browder's Leather Pants and Why String is Cool.
While I really wish a comm existed named the former, the latter sounds rather boring. And the comms are so easy to find... check my profile if you wanna see what I mean ;).
My last year too, and I have to take all my requirements that I haven't already taken. Band takes up so much time that I haven't had time to do anything fun, so my one class of liberty this year is Philosophy, for a semester.
But it has to be boring because it has such cool stuff hidden on it! ...yeah, I know, they usually go for boring names like farscapeeps or whatnot.
Ah, see, I only have three required classes, and the rest are "required electives", which means they say "You have to take 5 classes, but we give you a super long list to choose those 5 classes from", so I'm taking a lot of fun stuff.
Between graduation requirements and college entrance requirements (and I really hope the fact I only have two years of a foreign language doesn't count against me too much), I'm surprised I even have time for band.

I love Shakespeare. Guy was a genius!
Lol, well, there are lots of comms for it, but I'll email those to you if you ever are interested. :D
