It's always a moment of, "Whoa, WTF," when I'm trolling through LJs at random trying to find fic, meta, vids, etc. for another of my fandoms and I find a rec for one of my fics. (Usually Dust.)

Now, if it's all right, Tulane, I would like to please get a dryer which ACTUALLY DRIES MY LAUNDRY. (The One True Dryer was in use. *sad*)

In my experience, I've found that doubling the drying time usually does the trick. It'll cost you more, sure, but at least it means you don't have wet jeans spread across your dorm bed for a few days (and thus negating the whole point of machine drying. >_>)

Oh, I tried that. Still damp. Rather than put it in the same damn dryer and have it still be damp a buck twenty-five later, I now have it sitting in my room, where it will go in the One True Dryer tomorrow morning. *scowls*
