Deep thoughts on my BSG rewatch (I'm up to 2.8 now) include:
Tricia Helfer is much hotter when she's in sweats with her hair pulled back in 2.7 than she is when she's all dolled up the way she usually is. I like her voice more then, too, for some reason.
Lucy Lawless is amazingly gorgeous, and I still really like "Final Cut" as an episode.
HELO/SHARON FOREVER. They are adorable, and I hate them being separated by Sharon locked up. But she's a GOOD Cylon!
I like Lee considerably less than I did the first time 'round, and Anders considerably more.
Baltar, still terribly annoying and infuriating.
It's really weird going back and watching the first couple seasons of BSG after having watched Caprica, especially when considering the Adamas. I keep staring at Commander Adama and Apollo and thinking of Joseph Adama and little Willy Adama and Sam Adama and everything from Caprica -- the mob, the racial issues, not so much the beginning of the Cylons. Some of the religious stuff, though not as much as I could be. I wonder if anyone's still writing BSG fic with Caprica in mind? Or vice versa.
Actually, it's also weird going back when I've been halfway through the fourth season (maybe I will finally watch the back half!) and trying to figure out if some of the clues of who is and who isn't a Cylon is in there. Like, I don't think I can pick out that Chief or Anders or Tigh is, and I'm not entirely sure the PTB were planning that far ahead in the first couple seasons.
I may skip the back half of S2, because I remember it mostly being horrible, and move onto S3, because I love the beginning of S3.
