an Announcement! cleverly hidden in the middle of this post.
Things I have figured out: jam jars of the appropriate size make really good juice glasses. As a result, I have been drinking a lot of juice the past two days -- two ice cubes, half a bottle of pineapple orange juice or some kind of pomegranate blend, and I'm immediately transported to a tropical beach in Thailand. I know. That's not where you thought I was going with that sentence. (You know, I have actually been to a tropical beach in Thailand, so it's not actually nonsensical.) It makes me happy. :)
Also, good news! I have made a DECISION, y'all: I am going to England this summer! (On the fourth of July. This amuses me in ways that I cannot articulate. Well, the program starts on the fourth, anyway, and goes on for a month. What's England like in July?)
I'm excited! And also kind of worried that the program will decide they've made a mistake and say, "Sorry! Spots all filled!" But I (well, my mother) wired the deposit and everything, so. It would kind of suck if they changed their minds.
In other news, the last two forms for my financial aid application have not yet arrived at Financial Aid, which makes the anxiety come back since the deadline is on Friday. I probably should have walked them into the damn office instead of mailed them, but I didn't, and now I don't have anything to do except wait. And hope they get them before Friday. (This is kind of a recurring theme in my life.)
And now, a final question.Does anybody have a link where I can ahem-ahem The Borgias 1.03? I though it would be up on iTunes and I was all prepared to pay actual legit money for it, and then...not so much. (And I can't torrent at my uni, so.) ETA: Taken care of, thanks!
And now all my juice is gone, and I am cold and off to make tea.

And there is definitely something funny about going to England on the Fourth of July.

Especially for a program that's designed for American (and Canadian) students! Although last year I guess it started on the sixth of July, so perhaps not shenanigans, just amusing coincidence.
