High speed Internet, oh my God. *swoons* And wireless on my laptop. To think I've been living with dial-up all these years.

Still sick, alas.

Premiering tonight: Jericho and CSI:NY.

What I'm looking at for this year:
Monday: Two and a Half Men
Tuesday: The Unit
Wednesday: Jericho, CSI:NY
Thursday: nada
Friday: Numb3rs, Close to Home (anybody know if it got picked up for a second season?)

What I would watch if, alas, I had cable, which I do not: Supernatural, Stargate SG-1 (which got cancelled! *woe*), Stargate Atlantis, Smallville. Alas. Woe.

FYI - yes, Close to Home got picked up for a second season. They're adding David James Elliot who was previously on JAG to the cast.

*I'm* bummed they killed off Christian Kane's character. TPTB are "moving the focus away from Annabeth's home life".

They what? No! I missed the second half of the finale because the power went off at my house that night. Man, I missed half of Close to Home and half of Numb3rs and if I'd known the power was going to go out, I woulda gone to the Springfest dance. And I'm going to miss the premiere because I have to go to a football game.

Uh, sorry for the whining.

Close to Home season last finale

No worries, I can understand the whine. Um...sorry. I thought you knew how the season ended. Short version: Jack's a little frustrated - everytime he tries to get close to Annabeth, she keeps putting him off because of a case. Jack finally persuades her to go on a vacation - without the baby - when the case is over. Annabeth wins her case against a teenage girl who was running a porno website and convenienced a boy who had a crush on her to kill a reporter who was closing in on her business and would have shut her down.

Annabeth gets back to her office thinking they're going to celebrate her win when her co-workers tell her: Jack was on the way home and got hit head-on by a drunk driver. He was pretty much DOA.

So that's why TPTB added David James Elliot. After Annabeth has time to get over her loss, they're pretty much going to start with the UST crap. There's been talk about a triangle between Annabeth, the new guy and somebody already on the show.

Hope this catches you up with the show.

...well, that sucks. God, I have on-show romances. This and CSI:NY? Somebody shoot me. At least The Unit's honest about it.
