Five Things Meme part the second (for [profile] limmenel)

Five cases Bones never wanted to work on.
Five times Mac didn't know about an inter-lab romance.
The five times McKay has found himself humbled.
Five scenes from Danny's life after he gets Made.
Five moments between Val and Danny.
The five most important people in Carmine d'Alessandro's life.
Five times Luc has regretted wooing (or not wooing) a woman.

Five cases Bones never wanted to work on.

1. The Bruglia case. The house is a bloodbath -- the son had died first, trying to protect his sister, and the little girl is naked in the bathtub, guts spilling out of the split in her stomach. Even Booth is sick when he gets to the scene. It gets so much worse when they get an anonymous tip a few hours later and find the wife strangled to death in her car, her children's blood on her hands. When they get back to Jeffersonian the husband is waiting in Brennan's office, waiting to confess to killing his wife for killing their children.

2. Anything having to do with her father. She hates being conflicted.

3. Booth's murder. His blood is on her hands and all down the front of her blouse -- on her mouth where she tried to do CPR -- and Brennan can't make herself move to get up. Or even breathe.

4. The sailboat murder that she and Booth have to fly out to the Caribbean for. It would be a nice vacation if it was a vacation, but it's not and it reminds her uncomfortably of Sully -- until she IDs the badly acid-damaged skeleton and realizes it is Sully, and what might have happened to her if she'd gone.

5. The vigilante case. Honestly, it's all for the better if someone's taking out criminals, but Booth says it's a matter of principle. So she'll go with it.

The five most important people in Carmine d'Alessandro's life.

1. Valentine Constantine. No question, no hesitation. He isn't going to bother trying to explain it.

2. Orlando d'Alessandro. Hey, he may be working for the other team, but he's Carmine's brother. You just can't beat that.

3. Joey Sforza. He's not much to look at, but there are people you'd kill for and people you'd die for, you know?

4. Ace Aciello. He's an idiot sometimes, but he's damn good at what he does and he's saved Carmine's ass more than once -- only literally once.

5. As of this moment, a little rat of a cat burglar who's currently sharing a cell with Luciano Constantine. If Lucky makes a move towards Val, Carmine will know it before Lucky's people on the outside do.
