bedlamsbardSo, I caught the pilot for Drive last night -- and guys, you should be watching this. It's Good Television, people. (And unfortunately, I can't watch it because Fox doesn't put their shows online and my mom wants to watch Dancing With the Stars -- which is on at the exact same time, 8 on Monday nights. Curse you, cruel world!)
C'mon, it's got Nathan Fillion. That's right, of Firefly fame.
What else? Well, it's got a pair of brothers driving cross-country in an Impala.
...no, seriously, this is not Supernatural. Although I am so tempted to write fic where Sam and Dean are forced into The Race and meet Winston and Sean. It'd go something like this.
"Nice wheels," Dean says in a low voice, flicking an appreciative eye over the other Impala.
"Yours too," Winston says. "What is that, sixty-eight? Sixty-nine?"
"Sixty-seven," Dean says easily, and offers a hand. "Dean Winchester. This is my kid brother Sam."
"Hey," Sam says half-heartedly, but shakes Winston's hand anyway.
"Winston Salazar," the other man offers. "And this is Sean."
"I'm his brother," Sean adds, but he sounds dubious about it.
