So. Um. I'm the anonymouse that likes to comment on your CSI:NY-fic. I finally broke down and got one of these things.
Canon has already gone and blown my secret hopes for CSI:NY to smithereens. Lindsay's Deep Dark Traumatic Secret was... underwhelming. I really wanted something with the potential for spectacular repercussions. Granted, "sole survivor of spree killing" was a step up from "sexual assault victim," (which is what fandom was predicting, I think), but still.
I won't even go into the pool table scene in the finale. I'm firmly convinced that in reality, Danny and Lindsay switched shifts weeks in advance because Danny had another commitment. Like helping Louie get discharged.
Of course, this doesn't mean I'm going to write any fic. Nope, not at all.
