So, bioengineering isn't my calling...
Jun. 28th, 2005 08:58 pmUnfortunately, it doesn't seem to be. I mean, it's fun dissecting fresh bleeding cow hearts and all, but really - I'm not all that interested in either biology or engineering. I think I'll stick to my forensic anthropology and/or archaeology plans. On the bright side, I can now tell you never to get heart disease; it's more trouble than it's worth. No, really. *innocent eyes* What's intimidating is that most of the people are from private schools or prep schools or Christian schools, and I'm all, "Er. From a public high school in a rodeo cow town on the other side of the mountains? ...pleasedon'tbeatmeup." Honestly, though, they seem pretty nice. No cute guys, though. Unfortunately. I'll stick to the tenor player that doesn't know I exist back home.
Oooh, but there were human hearts too. They weren't new, they were old, and they had artificial help in them so that you could see the earliest forms of heart cures/help/thingies.
No, really, I'm not all that interested. I just like to shock people. I did this to my friends whe I called them at one of the breaks today. "I dissected bloody cow hearts!" "...that's nice, Keisha."
*is tired* Er. Going to go see if there's anything good on TV (yay, cable!) and try and edit the latest chapter of Omerta, which is, at the moment, Danny telling Flack his life story, which he's told to at least one person in every installment of the trilogy. Perhaps I'll see if I can bypass this, since Flack already knows and tells Danny, very loudly, that he Does Not Care, because Danny's NYPD now.
