HEART OF DARKNESS MUST DIE. IMMEDIATELY. ARGH DEATH.
(I wonder if I can find a way to work the SG-1 S1 ep "The First Commandment" in here somehow. Hmm. I must ponder this. And rewatch the ep.)
Okay, here's what we're doing: we have to do a fifteen minute presentation discussing what Heart of Darkness suggests about human nature, the world around us, and the "Self." And how it relates to Animal Dreams by Barbara Kingsolver and All the Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy. We got that part; we're doing this, like, dinner party thing with music and light cues. IT IS COOL. Sort of. In the sense that we've never practiced it.
Must do a write-up now like. Argh, NaNo. No sleep for me tonight, I foresee.
Bright side: University of Washington app not due Saturday. Not-so-bright side. AP English project due TOMORROW. Yes. We are group number two to present. Maybe I can have a nervous breakdown and quit school for the hour?
