The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Oh, god, it's artsy. It's so damn artsy I couldn't finish watching the trailer.
Untraceable. Oh, this one looks good. Really good. I know a couple of the crime shows I watch -- Criminal Minds and Numb3rs, I think -- have had plots close to this one, but this is intense.
Funny Games. I think I've seen this Criminal Minds ep, but whatever, this looks good, and terrifying, and one of those psychological thriller-type things.
Revolver. Another good-looking movie, again with the psychological thing. Plus, you know, conmen.
The Band's Visit. Not really my thing, but it looks interesting.
Mad Money. Dude, this looks awesome. Independent women! Crime! Humor! What more do you need?
Rambo. What is it with these people who are making sequels to movies that came out ten, twenty, thirty years ago last time (a.k.a. Die Hard, Star Wars, Indiana Jones)? Anyway, I never saw the original Rambo movies, but this looks interesting. Plus, you know, violence.
Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins. Heh. I think it looks funny, even though my first thought is, "Where are all the hilarious white extended families? I know they're out there; my friend has one."
The Perfect Holiday. I liked it better when I read the summary rather than saw the trailer. Where the hell are the multi-racial stories? Is everything just white or just black? What about Hispanics? What about Asians? Do you know not one of the ten TV shows I watch regularly has an Asian-American main/regular character? Where the hell are the stories with the sweet Japanese-American struggling single mother whose bastard husband ran off to Italy with his blonde secretary who catches the eye of the black soldier and his best friend, who's trying to raise his sister's kid? Or something, God, I don't know, but it's starting to get on my nerves.
Man in the Chair. I like it. It looks funny but moving, you know? And it makes me think of my friend who wants to be a filmmaker.
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. So excited for this. So, so excited for this, oh my God. You cannot imagine how fucking excited I am to see this on the big screen. The next six months waiting for this to come out are going to suck, but Narnia!
