Is it bad that I keep rereading In a Dry Month and grinning like an idiot? Because I do. I totally do.

...I guess it's a good sign when your own fic makes you absurdly happy?

An exchange of Golden Age dialogue to represent my mood at the moment:

"It's raining!" Tumnus says, sounding overjoyed.

"It's raining," Peter agrees, sounding considerably less so.

"I have never seen this much water at any one time in my life," Edmund says. "Not counting the ocean."

"Is that thunder?" Susan says.

Lucy beams. "I hope there's lightning."

I have never. Seen so much. Water fall from the sky. AT ANY TIME IN MY LIFE.

That includes when Tropical Storm Fay hit. I am on my third pair of jeans and my second pair of shoes of THE DAY.
