Well, that was exciting -- the pipes that go to our gas heater (or something, god, I don't know) suddenly sprang a leak (not the pipes, per se, but the seal where they come through the roof) and my mom and I had to fix that. Fortunately, we had some a tube of caulking, so it took about fort-five minutes to figure out how to fix it and where all the leaks are.
We have a ton of snow, and it is melting. Through my ROOF, apparently. God, I hate snowmelt.
In other news, the summary of Dust 9 so far could read as follows: in which Peter is kind of a bastard, Tirian is a mother hen, Eustace is concussed, and Caspian is dead, yet still cryptic.
Meanwhile, I am strongly resisting the urge to turn the Dawn Treader into the Narnian version of the Flying Dutchman. BUT IT WOULD BE COOL.
ETA: Oh, well, shit, never mind, now the roof is leaking in MULTIPLE places -- the actual roof, mind, not just the seal, or well, god knows what.
