Okay, here's what's going on, re:writing.
I'm going to try and turn out the next three (or possibly four, but I'm really hoping for three) chapters of Dust, which should put me up to about 120K on the story and end what I've quietly been thinking about as "part one" (as per usual, oh god, oh god), before I go back to Water and into edits on that. Given the rate I've been turning chapters out at lately, this is probably going to be over a month from now, although I do have spring break coming up, so there's that. Yes, I know it's NaNoEdMo and all that, but I want to get this part of Dust out before I take a (ha) extended break. So, if you are one of my betas and haven't gotten back to me yet, there's that.
There's about 4700 words of Dust 12 on my computer; the past couple thousand or so words has been written in two hundred word segments in the last ten or fifteen minutes before I crawl into bed thanks to a pressing load of homework. I know where it's going, more or less. Right now I'm hovering around how much of Cair Paravel to talk about from Susan's POV, because we get a lot of the city from Tirian's POV.
There are a couple of other shorter WIPs on my hard drive, besides the ever-present "Till Human Voices Wake Us" and "Old Timber to New Fires," in varying states of completion. The post-LWW story, the assassination attempt story, the boot camp story, various bits of Peter/Susan (including werewolves, dancing around the issue in the Golden Age, and Dust-era missing scenes).
