I think I've written about half a dozen different versions of Dust 12. This is unbelievable. This is the first chapter I went into knowing exactly what was going to happen -- probably the reason it could go so many ways, actually.

And before y'all ask, it's not done, no. I thought we were getting there last night, but I looked at it again today and went, "Nah, that last 1500 words is ridiculous; let's get rid of some of that, at least." Let me just tell you, I have happy dreams of having this done by the time I get on the airporter tomorrow.

Seriously. This is getting ridiculous.

Okay, for a median strip, would it just be known as that? Or Wikipedia says "central reservation" for British English, would the use be the same? I ask because clearly Peter and Susan aren't going to call it the neutral ground, which, although at this point a Narnian term, is in our world strictly used in New Orleans. It's a regional thing in the U.S., so...

at least they're adorable together?

Boy, I just love being 10.3K into a chapter and not knowing what comes next. Really, I do. More than anything.

Okay. There is not that much of this chapter left.

On the other hand, I did write some scorching hot Peter/Susan Golden Age porn, so there's that.
