In LB, Tirian says he's seventh in descent from Rilian, yes? Which means that there have been six other kings between him and Rilian in a direct line. So -- theoretically there could be some troubles there, yes? A brother taking over somewhere, a usurption, some really awesome regents, etc., etc. I've already named a fair number of the kings between, and unfortunately, I don't have any openings left for more than one. (The kings named so far go: Caspian, Rilian, [unnamed], Absalian, [unnamed], Bastian, [unnamed], Erlian, Tirian.)
But seventh in descent doesn't mean "straight line with no troubles." *thoughtful*
I think there may have been a pair of kings -- maybe not around the same time, maybe so -- named Florian the Faithful and Florian the Faithless.
