So, I just heard miaowing, which is really bizarre, because it's all of 1:20 am and also, second storey! So I look out my window and what do I see?

MY CAT PUNCH STANDING ON THE ROOF STARING AT ME.

She looked really bewildered. "What is this crazy human doing!"

...actually, Punch may be a male. Tiger (oh my God, Freudian slip, just typed "Tighter", no I was not just writing porn, why would you say such a thing?) might be the female. Uh. Wait, yeah, I think that's right. Punch is a he, Tiger is a she.

awkward first times and the un-re-edited VotDT

Some weeks I write a lot of action. Some weeks I write a lot of porn. Sometimes, I have really good weeks where I write a lot of snark. (I miss these weeks.)

This week, I wrote a lot of awkward first times. (Three. THREE. Two of them threesomes. I don't even have any actual experience in this matter, from myself or talking with friends -- all those books about high school and college lie, either that, or I'm just really bizarre -- so I'm pretty much making it up as I go.)

In other news, I was browsing Diana Peterfreund's blog, and it turns out her favorite book is The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (she is also the one who sent me from 0 to 60 yesterday in the rage sweepstakes, but that's mostly because I'm completely out of my mind as far as such things go), and mentions that there is a version of VotDT where the Island Where Dreams Come True isn't destroyed. I didn't even remember this island, so I went and found the book and found the chapter, and...I do not have this version. (Obviously, since this apparently happened in the "un-re-edited" version, and I have the 1994 edition.)

DUDE. WHO HAS THIS COPY. WHO DO I HAVE TO KILL TO FIND THIS VERSION?

ETA: mercuryblue144 points out that Wikipedia has a compare/contrast, and I have a HarperCollins/Scholastic edition, which is apparently the one where the publishers ignored the changes Lewis had made to the American edition and is thus closer to the British edition except for one thing? Man, I want to hunt down all these different editions now.
