For those interested, we have finally found the point at which I will skip my two and a half hour once a week honors history class. It is at the point where it is bucketing rain and my jeans are soaked, my sweatshirt is soaked, my feet are dry because I got my rainboots last week (the mulberry plaid), my umbrella is leaking, and I can barely see because there is water running into my eyes, that I refuse to go to class.
Also, said class is on the other end of campus and is also always freezing cold (seriously, I swear the professor wants us to feel like we're actually in revolutionary Russia), and there is no way in hell I am willing to sit through that in wet clothing. I got about a third to half of the way there, stopped, went, "Fuck this," and turned around.
Somewhat unsurprisingly, there was a strong thunderstorm advisory issued. NO REALLY?
