*irritated*
Dec. 4th, 2009 01:20 pmThe Center for International Studies (or Global Education, or Study Abroad, or Who Knows What But It Involves Places Not Here) has been hiding pertinent information about Fall 2010 on the front page. Wait, before you laugh at me! They were hiding it at the bottom of the page, under the index, where no one looks! And they never bothered to update the page where they have the application info; it is all outdated Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 information and forms! Which is just mean.
*snarl*
Also, the building in which the Center And/Or Office Of Not-United States of America Education is located does not have a sign which denotes that it is, you know, the Center for Global Education. It simply says "Tate House", causing one to walk by wondering where the hell the Study Abroad Office is.
*breathes* Okay, here is my plan: I will go by after my 3:00 (last class of the semester!) and ask for the forms for JYA application; my plan is still to go abroad for a full year at, hopefully, UCL. BUT, if it is too late (because the website sucks, and, yes, I know, I procrastinated like a crazy person, I am aware of this), then I will apply to go to the University of Sydney for Spring 2011, since I know that Sydney has a medieval studies program. (Also, nearly all the universities in the U.K. only do a full year abroad, except for Royal Holloway, East Anglia, and Sussex. I mean, I could probably still be convinced, but.) (Obviously I would prefer to go to London, if only because otherwise
aella_irene will kill me. I wonder if the Study-Abroad Office will take this as valid reasoning.)
Words do not actually convey how annoyed I am. (Partially at myself, yes, do not yell at me, I will cut you.)
ETA: Have picked up form from study-abroad office. Nobody freak out! Or get excited, yes, I see you Australians there in the corner! (Statement of Academic Purpose: ...co-writing novel with Englishwoman, hope to at one point meet each other in person...)
