Jan. 16th, 2010 10:13 amGUYS WHY DID I NOT THINK OF THIS BEFORE. Loyola University (literally, right next door) has the book I need for Tuesday. And Tulane and Loyola students can borrow books from each other's libraries! Maybe. Well, yes. I am just kind of unsure if the TULU (really, guys? really? I mean, I get it, but stupid name) card is the same as the regular Howard-Tilton Library barcode, though I am leaning towards no just based on common sense and the websites for Tilton and Monroe.
Also I have no idea where Monroe Library is, but it can't be that hard to find; Loyola's campus is tiny. Very cramped. I always feel like I'm on enemy territory when I'm over there, which is just me being violently bizarre.
There are benefits to having two universities side by side. Also, Loyola has better food and Tulane students can use our meal plans there. Which is good, because I've only been to Bruff (Bruff Commons, our dining hall) once so far this semester. Of course, I'm...not really eating, which is bad and something I should remedy, I just spoiled myself by being able to cook when I was home...
