Jan. 31st, 2010 01:09 pm*sadly* I am pretty sure every library in New Orleans exists for the sole purpose of driving me completely fucking insane. I have told you about my insatiable craving to see Gladiator, yes? Which Tilton has. Which is now on reserve, which means I can't check it out. And then I thought, hey, maybe Loyola has it! Which it does. Except as far as I can tell from Loyola's website, their movies can only be checked out for two hours in-library by students, which is ridiculous, because not only do they have Gladiator (a 155 minute movie!) but they also have the complete series run of Rome. (Tilton only has season two, wtf, Tulane.)
Also, the New Orleans Public Library? The branches I can get to do not have it. I am not yet quite desperate enough to go to Blockbuster or Amazon, but I am getting there. *twitches round the eyes*
