Dec. 9th, 2010 07:39 pmThis paper is making me crazy. I have no idea why it's taking me so long to write (aside from the fact it's three to four times as long as any other paper I've had to write this semester); I know that part of it is because it's a research paper and I have to keep stopping to look things up to make sure I (a) can cite them correctly and (b) am not making anything up. (What do you mean, the Romans didn't ride to war on griffins and unicorns? LIES FOUL LIES.)
I should retitle it. Nobody Puts Hannibal In The Corner. The only problem with this title is that it's not about Hannibal. At all. Well, only in the sense that he was the greatest threat that the Romans faced during the Republican years and thus is indirectly the cause of my paper, but, still. Rome. Not Hannibal. But no one puts Hannibal in the corner.
*twitches* I'm getting about a paragraph an hour. I know. I KNOW. I either need to start writing longer paragraphs or writing faster. I mean, I even know what my argument is! I just need to make sure I have enough of it to fill twenty double-spaced pages. (Don't ask me how many pages I have right now. It's too depressing. It's also not twenty.)
...I typed this up an hour ago and I forgot to post it. I am very twitchy right now. I took an hour off to watch Fringe (OH OLIVIA) and knit and it did not help with the twitchiness. Perhaps if I switch to herbal tea instead of green tea. Gah, have to study for Shakespeare final, though.
