typical of my life right now

So I bought a teapot! Which came today. It is exactly what I wanted in a teapot, except for the fact that it arrived broken. *sighs* I am going to finish my abstract for Later Medieval Spain, since it's due in fifty forty-five minutes, and then I'll try and figure out how to contact Amazon customer service so that I can get a replacement.

(I also got a box from my mother today, which contained: "4 half pint jars and 2 small ones which are freezer safe, Frikake [sic], a chinese[sic] soup spoon, a pair of shoes and a letter from your friend. P.S. There is a jar of honey." In other words, ineptshieldmaid, I received your recipes! They went to my home address instead of my school one. Also, none of those jars broke, because apparently my mother is better at packing breakables than Amazon.)
