I've been saving my frankly way too extensive collection of Battle of the Five Armies fanart for a day where I like to sum up my mood as "if I have to suffer, everyone has to suffer", so today definitely qualifies. (There is also enough BotFA fanart that I can do four rec sets of pain and suffering, so thanks for that, Hobbit fandom.) I have to keep my BotFA fanart in a separate folder because I kept getting too overwhelmed with emotion while accidentally running across it in my main Middle Earth art folder.
Needless to say, expect spoilers for The Hobbit, as in, who lives and who dies. However, the book's been out since 1937, so I'm not cutting. GENERAL CONTENT ADVISORY FOR DEATH AND BLOOD. AND TEARS.
