March book roundup

Definitely read more books this month that last month, probably largely because (1) I had papers due and (2) I was (and still am) on vacation during the last week of March, which means that I basically tossed Rome out the window and settled down to work at my to-read pile. (Honestly, I should take a picture of it, it's absurd.)

april fools recs

My favorite April Fool's headline I've seen today is this one, from my university: University of Leicester announces search for King Richard IV.

The search for Richard IV however presents a far greater challenge in that there is no known historical account of the King's burial. Or death. Or life.

Or indeed any mention of him at all.

Obviously the only possible rec theme for today's Hobbit art rec set is: AUs! And it's a double set because I couldn't decide.
