Oct. 7th, 2013 04:30 pmFor those that are interested in this sort of thing, I went through the Warsverse timeline and updated it through Fast is Falling as far as fic goes, and with Revelations as far as the chronological timeline of Warsverse Narnia goes. Obviously there's a lot missing; about a millennium passes between Dust and Revelations, which isn't indicated on the timeline.
While all the rulers between Caspian and Tirian were previously indicated on the timeline, the post-PC era has now been divided up much more neatly by reign of monarch. (Yes, I know all their names.) Major events that I know of are now included; since most of these occur off-screen, they mostly refer to events or individuals that are referenced in Dust or any of my other post-PC fic. Monarchs of Archenland are included when known; I haven't sat down and worked out all the rulers of Archenland the way I have for Narnia. In several cases, there has been some quick juggling to account for inconsistencies between my fic, since I sometimes forget to check for continuity beyond making sure I don't get the rulers mixed up. (I keep decent but not great notes; the timeline is what I use.)
I may go back in the next and pull the Occupation (Border Wars and Dust) off into its own subdivision, just so I have all those events on the timeline as well.
You know, while I'm here I think I'm going to stick a (small! very small!) civil war in; post-PC Narnia is looking a little too peaceful for my tastes.
