Sep. 2nd, 2014 10:47 pmSo it is the second week of school and I have already: cried three days in a row, had a nervous breakdown, dropped a class, suffered what looks to be a major computer failure (it's holding on right now, but I need to take it into the shop when I have time, which is, uh, never), gotten behind on homework, and gotten the usual beginning of term plague.
...I feel it's far too early in the school year to have lost my ability to can, but what do you know.
Laptop issue: it's buzzing where the power cord plugs in, though not all the time, and last night it stopped charging, then started again when I switched power cords. (I have two, for reasons that don't need to be gotten into right now.) Now I'm watching the damn thing like a hawk, but everything but my music is backed up, at least, and even my music's backed up because I think right now everything's on my iPod, knock on wood. Computers are tiring and I am tired and I would just buy a new computer if I could find one I like, but all my stuff is on this one and hopefully it's not too difficult of a fix. But I need to find time to take it into -- I guess Office Depot, since they're closest (and when I went in to look at new laptops they said they do repairs), when it's not pouring down rain. Oh, yeah. Guess who got caught in a regular New Orleans downpour today. That would be me. I hate everything.
