So I got a tattoo.
( It's Star Wars, of course. )
It's the Star Wars Rebels starbird with the Jedi symbol set, and because I am aaaaaaalll about the symbolism there, the starbird is in the sunrise colors from A New Dawn, while the Jedi symbol is in the blue of falling night. (Actually, the Jedi symbol might be slightly ombre too, but I can't quite tell from the photo and it's bandaged now.)
Also dear sweet gods that hurt -- I'm a nervous talker, and I brought my friend Texas with me, so I basically didn't shut up for about an hour and a half, which must have been a shock considering when I came in to talk to the shop about it, I barely said anything and she did all the talking.
And now to commence NOT TELLING MY PARENTS about this -- my mother's coming Labor Day weekend, so hopefully I can just manage not to wear any shirts or dresses that show my back for those three days.
