The Dark Knight. Y'all must watch this immediately. IMMEDIATELY. Oh my God, this looks so good. I can't wait, really. Heath Ledger as the Joker looks fucking nuts, which is exactly as it should be. (Sidenote: hmm, if they do a third that must be when they're bringing Robin/Dick Grayson in? Hopefully. I like Dick-as-Robin.)

In other news, one of my two First Amendment cases from AP Gov (no, we don't learn actual government, we just learn Supreme Court case after Supreme Court case) is Reno V. ACLU...about fandom's favorite subject EVER. We must protect the children! *rolls eyes* I think the best part is the complete text of the case at FindLaw, where they're explaining the Internet. Now, remember, y'all, this was in 1997, so it may or may not have been overturned since then, but still -- vaguely amusing, at least in light of Recent LJ Events.

Dark Knight looks AWESOME. Not to mention I'm a Christian Bale fangirl, but who isn't?

Yeah, if they brought in Robin for a third movie that would be cool. But who would they get to play Robin?

Glad to be off school. Glad to be home. Supposedly, I'm working on my novel, but nobody's watching, so...I can do whatever the fudge I want! *pause* Well, within reason.

It depends if they go with the canon, in which case it would probably be kind of creepy -- I mean, Batman gets his hands on Dick when he's, like, ten or something. Hang on, I'll wikipedia it. Eight. Dick Grayson was eight. So it depends if Hollywood decides to go with that, which is, um, more morally shady than the rest of Batman (also, the scaly panties...no, seriously, that (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:BatmanRobin.jpg) was Robin I's costume), or if they want to go with the current Robin, Tim Drake, who became Robin as a teenager. I mean, since the makers of Batman Begins and Dark Knight have been pretty traditional, I'm almost certain they'll go with Dick over Tim or Jason Todd (Robin II), but it depends on how they want to do the age.

...I just geeked out a lot, didn't I?

Oh, sad, Christopher Nolan, the director, has said that as long as he's directing, Robin won't appear in the movies.
