Charlie Wilson's War. I like it. It looks good, and serious and funny at once -- plus, good actors.
Sweeney Todd. Very stunning visuals. I've heard some dubious things about the movie (how it differs from the musical, I mean), but I still want to see it. Also, Johnny Depp? Apparently really good at playing barking mad, along with Helena Bonham Carter, a.k.a. Bellatrix Lestrange.
Horton Hears a Who. It's Dr. Seuss, so it's crack. Do we even have to say more beyond that?
The Great Debaters. Oh, I like it. It's like all those sports movies I like, only without the sports.
Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. I like it. It's cute! It's funny! It subverts the norms!
In Bruges. Heh. Hit men! Humor! Colin Farrell! What more do you need?
21. Asian sighting! Also, Vegas! And MIT students! And card-counting! Awesome! Over use of exclamation points!
The Other Boleyn Girl. Oh, this looks pretty. It's so very pretty I can't quite tell whether it's good or not, but pretty. And Eric Bana as Henry VIII is just -- *waves hands* Yeah, got nothing, but pretty.
Made of Honor. So, it's basically My Best Friend's Wedding with a guy instead of -- was it Julia Roberts? -- looks funnier, though.
First Sunday. What. The. Hell.
Chicago 10. Huh. Well, I remember reading about this in AP U.S. History last year.
Teeth. Oh my God, what the fuck is this? *squeaks* I want to see it just so I know what the hell is going on.
Pride and Glory. NYPD, dubious morals, and some of the same guys that did Miracle. Oh, my.
