I rather like that they made Caspian so old in the movie, just because of the conflict between him and Peter (and the rest); he was treating Peter like Peter was younger (physically,yes), and Peter was treating Caspian like he was younger (mentally, yes), and I'm very fond of that aspect of the movie.
