I think that, of the four of them, Peter and Edmund know each other the best. Peter and Susan may be the oldest, and Peter and Lucy may be the most alike, but Peter and Edmund spent so much time together that they can reach each other without difficulty. (Of course, I rather think that all of the Pevensies pass the Broccoli Test to the nth degree. "Hi, Pete, I was in another world, and I thought you might like starfruit from the Lone Islands. I'm kind of bemused by the fact that I gave Caspian and Edmund such an interesting dynamic...when they never speak to each other in canon.
