I don't believe I've said anything about the great tragedy of the light in our room. We have had no room light since Saturday morning, just our desk lamps. And it gets dark, especially since we've had crappy weather these past few days. (Ike.) So ServiceWave, a.k.a. Tulane Maintenance, has been by to change the lightbulbs, and they still don't work, so the electrician is coming by in a bit to fix...something.

Oh yes. This happens to me.

Hey, Tulane's mascot is the Green Wave (no, don't ask. At some point the actual mascot was a, uh, wave named Gumby; now we have a pelican). Therefore, everything vaguely related to Tulane has the word "wave" in it. Like, the pep band? SoundWave.

We have a scary giant orange turd that SGA claims is a viking. (lies.) Also, we have California Surfer Viking (http://www.salemstate.edu/athletics/_imgs/athletics_logo.gif) (really, his skin is VERY orange). D:

Their uniforms are bright sparkly green. That's pretty shocking. (We saw them at Convocation.)
