Someone just asked me for fic in relation to a story I abandoned an age and a half ago. This should probably go on the list of things that break my brain. That's, like, two or three fandoms ago, and about three years (I am pretty sure the comment was on a fic I wrote freshman year. OF HIGH SCHOOL.

Ahem. I am writing Peter utterly fucking exhausted, which kind of has the adverse effect of making me feel kind of sluggish as well.

ETA: The Peter/Susan "subtext" in this chapter is absolutely friggin' ridiculous. Lass, you will love it.

Seriously. Like, even if someone got linked to the Bardverse (my epic CSI:NY trilogy), wouldn't it make sense to look at what's currently up on my journal and notice that, hey, it's ALL NARNIA?

meanwhile, in this chapter, peter also manages to have subtext with tirian and edmund. possibly lucy. i just can't tell anymore!

also, there's this conversation:

“Are you going to be sleeping with Ed tonight?” Susan asks a little wistfully as they regard the door set in the tree and the ladder hanging down from the treehouse above.

Peter raises his eyebrows. “Is Lu going to be sleeping with you?”

“You don’t have to –” Susan begins, but he can hear the relief in her voice.

“Su,” Peter says, turning towards her and cupping her face in one hand, the one that had been broken not so long ago. “I want to. It’s all right. I’ll talk to Ed and Lu if you want.”

“No,” she says stubbornly, but she turns her face into his palm anyway and they stand still for a moment, just breathing. Susan pulls away finally. “It’s cold tonight,” she says. “I’ll get some extra blankets.”

I swear to God I'm labeling this fic as gen, but no one is going to believe me.
