THAT IS AN AWESOME IDEA. ACTUALLY THERE ARE A COUPLE OF AWESOME IDEAS. eastern mythology, gosh, all the themes and ideologies to play around with there. i agree that it's a great premise for original fiction. the narnia stories but with a different mythology! i wonder how much the ideologies would change the shape of the stories.
ALTERNATIVELY. pevensies coming from a different culture! what if they WEREN'T middle class and white?!
