True fact: if I'm doing research for hand to hand/self-defense, I always end up on YouTube watching krav maga training videos.

And then, you know, trying to figure out how to compensate for medieval weaponry, if necessary.

My goal is to put Dust 12 out by tonight. This will probably not happen; I didn't work on it at all yesterday. But nothing's impossible! We all remember Dust 5, of course, where I wrote 7K in five hours. That was a Susan chapter too. *thoughtful*

Funny how Susan used to be one of my hardest POVs to write.

Friend of mine's been doing Krav Maga for years and is a medieval weaponry nut. He enjoys talking about both of these things. If you ever want someone to talk self-defence and/or weaponry with, I reckon he'd delight in such conversation.
