I really liked it! I mean, I'd probably have to see it again to come up with more coherent thoughts, but a few things I can think of right now: I really liked the aspects of the characters, to show how utterly fucked up they were to do that sort of job, because that's something that you don't generally get in mainstream superhero comics/movies (Batman to an extent, because Nolan and Bale have done a good job with that, but that's an exception for the genre). I mean, you don't go into that sort of job and be normal or stay normal. The ending kind of took me by surprise; despite the fact that they had more or less been building to it throughout the entire movie, it still just seemed too big for the scale of the characters, though I think that may have been the point. I really liked the action scenes -- the one in the alley hit all my kinks, because I'm a big fan of when bad guys tangle with the wrong people (and I've written similar scenes with the Pevensies in England). And, of course, like everybody else in the known universe, I also loved the opening credits, just for the sense of world and history there.
