This is early, early, way back in the first year -- actually, given the fact that there's no Royal Guard, it may even predate Snow Day (http://bedlamsbard.livejournal.com/365977.html). (For a fun mindtrip, try mapping out when stories occur in the Warsverse by use of the Guard alone. It's -- somewhat possible.)
Well, he's Warsverse Edmund, but he's not King Edmund, not yet -- there are still things to come for him, a lot of them. *prods curiously* They are oddly adorable when they're so young and innocent and naive!
