On "Trapped" and fic updates

Thank you, CBS. All it takes is one good ep and I'm back on the fic bandwagon.
Unfortunately, said fic is not Bloody Sunday, is not in the Bardverse, and does not yet have either a plot or a title, but I don't expect those'll be long in coming. Preview:
The last time Danny had seen him, Louie's hair had been pitch black, Faith Paguso Messer's hair, not this - blond anomaly. It looked wrong on Louie, like whiskers on a snake.
"How the hell did you piss off the Mob that you had to change your hair and come back to New York, huh?"
Danny, Danny, Danny. You and your family. Why am I not surprised?
Stella, you rock. Immensely. Like a rockin' thing. Like a rocking chair!
My extreme dislike of Lindsay continues - the vibe I'm getting from her isn't that she's feeling more comfortable with Mac, but that she's - hmm, how to phrase this. That she's trying to bludegeon her way into the good graces of the team, but the rest of the team isn't ready to accept her. Or possibly wants to accept her. She's trying too hard, and taking too many things for granted, and I'm not sure she's figured out the differences between New York and Bozeman County yet.
Of course, I could be overly cynical.
I have immense love for the new coroner. I go now to look up his name (Dr. Marty Pino!) and go crazy with him. I think NY has too many coroners, especially for a CSI show, but I think they're playing it pretty well. I mean, we have Hawkes, Zao, what's his face with the cool clip-together glasses - Hammerback, that's him - and now this new guy, Pino. He is mine. I will use him well.
I think we've long ago established that the Bardverse and canon operate independent of each other. Obviously Louie the brother is not going to feature in the Bardverse; all Danny's brothers have names. Eddie Jr., Chris, and Nate.
