Dec. 18th, 2010 11:08 pmI am starting to believe I shall never see VotDT in theatres. Perhaps tomorrow. Perhaps not. *twitches at the eyes* I mean, if I don't see it tomorrow, I may be able to put out Dust 21 before I actually see it and possibly have my characterization all blown to hell (my canon, sadly, is already quite fucked; I am really quite fine with this), but OH GODS I MAY NEVER SEE IT. *weeps, sadly*
Cannot take the car: I hate driving the 4-Runner, the Idiot Ford was sold, and my mother takes the brand new Rav-4. Also, winter = icy roads. I have not driven in winter since 2008. JANUARY 2008. I think my parents are starting to get the idea that, uh, I kind of want to see it, ya know? I think I am the last person in Narnia fandom who hasn't.
Like I said. Twitching at the eyes.
(Gods know that one of the reasons I need to see it is for getting kickass Lucy icons oh my god.)
Also, I reread The Hobbit today, and now my writing style has gone over all Tolkien. In the middle of a chapter. OF COURSE. Martin tomorrow, I think. Maybe Stirling or Lynch, or maybe I'll drift back to McKinley. I do want to hit up Rowling again, or even Burroughs.
