Guess who got their PSAT scores back today, huh? And guess how they did, huh? 97 percentile. NINETY-SEVENTH out of all the juniors and sophomores in the nation. IN THE NATION! That's better than anyone I've talked to, and most of my junior friends are really smart. The closest was a 96 from a fellow CWC/physics member. *dances* And I know it doesn't count for anything because I'm just a sophomore, but 97! 72 on Reading Comprehension, 58 on Math, and 78 on Writing Comprehension - I missed one question on Writing Comp, or I would have gotten a perfect score. At the risk of sounding conceited, I love being smart.

*squash* You *rule*! You shall so totally pwn the SATs, as you have quite thoroughly pwned the PSATs.

Well, the SAT is harder. But it counts. And I bet I can get a National Merit Scholarship next year when I take the PSAT for real (it's the same test). 97! Better than Joey and the Wonder Junior Sax Boys!

Congrats! That's fabulous news, though it doesn't surprise me at all.

On another subject, if someone were to be writing short fic for your birthday, what sort of elements or characters might you like to see, as a general sort of guideline?

Thank you! It surprised me, because, hello, junior test, sophomore here. *bounces*

Hypothetically speaking, of course? Well, off the top of my head - Danny Tanglewood gen, or Mac and Stella partnership gen (not Partnersverse), or any sort of first season Mac or Stella gen. I'm not picky.

Speaking of which, I, apparently, am not the only one with a birthday coming up, hmm?

Oh, good. You had mentioned my gen stories recently, so I was sort of thinking along those lines already. Thumbs up. Must ponder.

Erm, and if today is any indication, I'm going to be Having A Week, so it may be done a bit late, which I really hope is okay.

Oh dear, no, you're not the only one. *facepalm* I'm exactly a week after you.

Gen is quite underrated, which is sad, because it allows the author to concentrate on the character rather than the pairing. So much of fanfic is all about the sex. Me, I'm more of the flash-bang type, but that's what I like to see in movies, so...*cough* I like watching things blow up.

Oh dear, no, you're not the only one. *facepalm* I'm exactly a week after you.

Lot of January birthdays. (Today was my friend Mila's, and my mom's is on the 24th). Would you prefer another chapter of Bloody Sunday, Habeus Corpus, or for me to poke at Black Monday again? I don't think my brain is working well enough to start anything new. *apologetic*

Stuff blowing up real good is *never* a bad thing. And even though I've gotten away from it over the past year, I *do* enjoy gen. I'm still pondering the story -- have the beginnings of a couple of ideas, but nothing concrete yet.

Oh dear, choices! I like all of those. Erm...surprise me? Surprises are always nice.

*ponders* I don't think I've actually had anything blow up in the Bardverse yet. On the other hand, I think that was plotted into Bloody Sunday originally. On the other other hand, lots of people have been shot (and more to come!).

Oh man, make me think.
