Puzzleverses: the kind of verse you want to talk the most about.
My current puzzleverse...um. I have a gigantic backstory incorporating things such as the destruction of Brazil, the second American Civil War, Nikola Tesla as the guy who made electricity reliable around magic-users, and Samuel Clemens/Mark Twain as more of an underground author than one who's taught in English class. All of which I've pieced together after starting out with only the first 7 years and last week (the whole thing is 50-something years, except for the Tesla/Clemens part; at least 20 of them are complete unknowns)...after the end of the prologue, that world is never seen again.
Hearing other people talk about their puzzleverses tends to cheer me up. A support group of authors who are frustrated at not just getting the whole story in one big chunk (oh, how I love it when that happens...).
