Wow, this is really interesting, and again, totally something I would watch. I'm assuming that Prince Seabright's bid failed, but it's fascinating that he made it at all.
Though you know, I was thinking about it a bit tonight, and I do think Eustace is justified to feel frustrated at his inability to carry out his task, because in TSC it was so bloody obvious what it was, and they bungled it along the way but they got it done in the end, and again, fairly quickly. And even in TLB book-canon, it's not really obvious to me what Lewis Aslan was trying to accomplish by sending Jill and Eustace to Narnia first, other than cutting Tirian off of that stupid tree, in light of his final intentions for the world.
I have to admit, I find the Jewel-Tirian relationship to be kind of creepily close, at least from the outside.
