I think there were a couple of different tries for the throne of Narnia during the Calormene conquest -- Seabright didn't make it (I'm not sure what the repercussions were for Terebinthia), I think there might have been at least one from a Narnian noble, and there's a possibility that there was someone running around for a while claiming to be Caspian returned from the dead. (Weird times. Very weird times. He didn't last long.)
The thing that always strikes me as odd about sending Eustace and Jill in LB is that the task/mission there is so different from what Eustace and Jill have done in the past, in VotDT and SC, but it's comparably similar to what the Pevensies did in LWW and PC. So it's an odd choice of tools...
