the terrible dream brigade

bedlamsbardSo last night (this morning, really) I dreamed that the world was ending and my house was on fire. These two events may or may not have been connected.
As my dad said, "God, Katrina, that's horrible."
"TELL ME ABOUT IT."
Apparently, my last words to my best friend from high school upon seeing a giant wave coming at my...boat? Cruise boat? Houseboat? Thingy? would be, "It was good." However, not actually destroyed by giant wave that was supposed to destroy the world! So I guess there's a plus. Then the house on fire thing -- my parents and I got out of the house, though I was the last one out since I ran to get my purse and my cell phone inside so I could call 911, but the fire department wasn't answering. Presumably because there were other disastrous things going on around town due to the world ending. The upper story of the house with my parents' bedroom on fell off, and then on the other side of the house, the maple tree (though it was a pine tree in the dream) caught fire and the fire spread to the house. Also then I think the other side of the house caught fire, also from the trees.
