Now, I know the chances of me actually going to Prom are zip to null (well, actually they're slightly larger than that; I could probably finagle one of the junior boys into going with me. However, I am waiting for feedback on this nefarious plan before carrying it out), but that doesn't stop me looking at dresses, does it? I mean, just for eye candy. And in case any of my friends are interested, or...well. Pretty dresses.

Also: The Three Rules for Passing High School for Smart Students:
1. Learn how to lie with a straight face. To your parents, your teachers, your coaches, everyone. Just know when and when not to do it. When you have a three-hundred-point project or an emotional crisis is not the time. When you have homework for three different classes and a burning resentment of your friend and your ex-or-maybe-not-crush possibly getting together is.
2. Learn how to type reallyreally fast, so when you get to school in the morning and realize you have a paper due next period, you can type it up and print it out in the library before the bell rings.
3. Learn time management. That is to say: Okay, I can do this before I go to bed, this before school starts, this while announcements are being read, this at lunch, this while I'm watching CSI:NY, this is while Mom's at Jazzercise and thinks I have no homework...
